Character Rig
Meet Omar, a fully animation-ready 2D character rig crafted in Toon Boom Harmony. Designed with overlapping circle-based joints for smooth articulation, this cutout/puppet rig features a comprehensive 360° turnaround, allowing for seamless movement from any angle. Equipped with advanced deformers and master controllers, Omar is built for efficiency and precision in animation. The rig also includes a versatile library of substitutions for his eye, mouth, and hands, enabling expressive character performance and streamlined workflow.

Front View
This rig features Master Controllers for head angles, pupils, full turnaround, mouth, blinking, and head-specific turnarounds, offering intuitive animation control.
Semi-translucent green handles provide easy access to key elements, including the upper and lower eyelids, head and face, shoulders, upper body, back arm and leg, shoe shadows, and a full-body master handle. A red handle indicates the chin mask is disabled, used specifically for side views or when the head tilts upward, allowing for greater flexibility in character movement and expressions

Poses
These images highlight the rig in a variety of poses, testing its range and functionality to identify errors or adjustments needed before animation or creating master controllers. This process helped ensure smooth movement by catching and fixing issues like layer ordering, refining deformers, and finalizing drawing substitutions—particularly for detailed elements like hands and feet
