About me
Activism through Humor
Joy and fun are powerful tools in activism. Fighting oppression with art, beauty and humor is a revolutionary act. I use my work to create spaces for people to connect, resist oppression, and inspire change. Great things come when rage intersects with joy.
For the past six years, I’ve collaborated with comedians at Abortion Access Front to develop inclusive, respectful, and impactful messaging that centers laughter without “punching down.”
My art celebrates community resilience, offering both triumph and reprieve. For me, joy is an act of resistance—a vital balance between righteous anger and the weight of despair.

The Powerful Imagery of Heritage
As a Palestinian artist, I aim to honor our lost creators—artists, weavers, sewers, and painters—even as I work digitally. Speaking from the diaspora, I reclaim traditional arts and imagery that reconnect me to my roots: nature, the sea, embroidered patterns, and more.
